Yes we do notice.
Some advice for the guys, don't splash on heaps of aftershave, the smell is to overpowering and we think you are desperate. It also takes from your own natural scent in case you do meet someone. Try just dabbing a little on, a nice soft scent, not overpowering. We will notice it.

Yeah I notice, especially when it's cheapo crap that teenage chavs wear (burberry, joop, and the sports ones).
It is definately worth investing in a really nice expensive aftershave, it can make a huge difference!
I still remember the smell of my boyf on our first date it makes me nostalgic and turns me on!

yes u do notice u can always smell if they have got some on just smells horrible when they have got a cheep nasty one on
