When I get into an arguement with my boyfriend I always find that I am too forgiving.
Last night he broke my glasses. I know if I was to break something of his I would hear about it for the rest of my life. But its like because he says he is sorry, I forgive him. I know if I was to tell him sorry for any wrong Ive done it wouldnt matter.
Do you think females are more forgiving than males? Or it just depends on the person in question?

Me personally, I am not that forgiving. I have learned that if done once it will most likely be done again and again, until you stand up for yourself and say no more. I used to be the forgiving type, until I realized that I was enabling the things that people were doing to me to be done. People take kindness for a weakness so don't be too quick to frogive.

most of the time i think that females are too forgiving but a lot of it has to do with the person in general...im like that sometimes but next time try to think if the shoe was on the other foot and then see what would happen

Sounds like a good start to an abusive relationship.
If he says he's sorry after he punches you in the ribs a few times, are you going to forgive him?

I think that generally, females have a MUCH greater capacity to forgive..although we RARELY forget the bad things we experience. I think you should find a new boyfriend that will treat you right, won't abuse you, won't break your things and then give you lame excuses. One that will take care of you and be mature enough to be in a relationship.

depends on the person in question. I am female and I definetly do not forgive easily; especially when dealing with old enough to know adults.

Yes! Because of inherent submissiveness women tend to forgive more!!! But on serious, life threatening matters, its male who forgives and compromise!!!

well, it really depends on person to person!!
all i can tell you is try and maintain your dignity n respect in your relationship,dont allow anyone to take you for granted for you forgiveness n goodness and trust me arguments r there in every relationship and have u ever thought what are these arguments?they are just the difference of opinion,so just take it easy.........
