hi dear,

Well what did the term refer exactly means?

1. If it means TO QUOTE in context of describing some event or giving an example, in Quranic Verses, Quran Referes to many historical, pre-historical, nations and individuals, alos forcasts, reffer to Judgement day, Talks about Many Respectable Holy Prophets, Inludung Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) and Jesus (God Bless Him). And in most Verses of the same catagoriy (quote) Quran talks mostly about 'Bani-Israel' .. But imnportant is that Whom Quran is revealed and to Whom it is addressing.. its obviously addressing Muhammad PBUH & his followers and common Muslims, and all human beings. It is obvous and logical, if you are addressing to a person, and telling him the code of conduct for life, and you know that man has to carry some responsibilities, he has to develop a nation, create a revolution, you will tell him the past events, nations, stories that he & his team or followers may learn from past, avoid the similar mistake and adopting the best practicies, in daily life for day by day improvment and enhancement.

2. If to refer mean, to preffer one Prophet from another, its not true, because Quran clearly says, Prophet Muhammad is the last Prophet of God and all Prophets before him are equally honourable and was assigned by God to carry the same mission , for the welfare of human being in the world through the history. But the difference, every prophet came, for a specific natioan, or geographically centred area or was sent for a specific task. But Holy Prophet Muhammad PBUH sent for whole Humen Beings till judgement day even allah says in Quran ( smiliar meanings i will quote) "We sent him as blessing for whole universe"

3. All these things you can easily verify, simply you can search google for Quran english translation, and can browse through its chapters one by one or randomly, that may crate ease for you, not ony you will get surprise bye the knowledge and wisdom in it, but also it will help you to solve many of problem.

for your convinience

In Quran, all the great prophets have been mentioned - Abraham, Moses, Jesus, Mohammed .. and the list goes on. Jesus Christ has been mentioned quite a few times with great importance. However, i am not sure if Mohammed's (pbuh) name has been mentioned more than Jesus. There is great possibility of that as Quran was sent through him and that is pretty convincing. Still .. I will further check on.

Quran is not about Mohammed - it is about Islam. It is one common misunderstanding most non-muslims had. Mohammed (pbuh) is considered as the last and the greatest prophet but other prophets are equally important and respected. Muslims love and respect all their prophets. The prophets who have been blessed with divine books are, however given higher importance.

It refers to Jesus by name and says he will return in end times after a great earthquake and when green grass grows in the desert. Keep an eye out for that grass thing.

(this part not in the quran)
The drilling for and removal of oil from underground deposits will cause great instability in some of the plates which will lead to a series of large earthquakes and the increased burning of fossil fuels will cause weather patterns to change in time with global warming and bring rain where it has not in thousands of years.

Deuteronomy 18:18 isn't the arriving of Muhammad, this is the arriving of Jesus. The verse states that the prophet will come from the Hebrew human beings. Muhammad became no longer Hebrew. overlook it! Your phony prophet Muhammad became no longer foretold interior the bible. there have been not greater prophets despatched after Jesus. adverse phony Muhammad if he could have been around for the period of the time of Moses, he could have been stoned for being a pretend prophet.

The name Muhammad is mentioned less than Jesus, but the qur'aan uses words like, o prophet, and is throughout advising rasulallah on how to act. The qur'aan was revealed through Muhammad so talking about prophets before him gave the Muslims knowledge about their true stories

Well why don't you read it and find out. I did and I was amazed with what the Koran says. It makes you really think on most things. The first is why Christians and Muslims don't get along as the Koran clearly tell them to. The second is why don't more Christians read the Koran, it is clearly a Holy Book.

The index in the back of the Arberry version that I have listed 29 citations under 'Muhammad' and 30 citations under 'Jesus', so I guess technically you're right.

Interesting. I've never thought about that before.
