Better than a bar of chocolate or a pack of crisps. They are a fruit so they are healthy.

Raisins and dried fruit in general is a really healthy snack. They give you a nice energy boost but are fat free! raisins are also a good source of iron and calcium as well as dietry fibre. So get munching, especially before a work out because they are good fuel!

Raisins are great for you! The phytochemicals in them kill bacteria that causes cavitities, they contain boron which is important for bone health, and they have phenols in them which prevent oxygen based damage to your cells (antioxidant activity). They are higher in calories in grapes though, so try and stick to 1/3 cup at a time!

Rasins are High in Iron so yes they are really good for you! but like all things in small doses!
