Yes the spelling is correct, the quoted web site for MW doesnt say the word doesnt exist, it mearly sayes it doesnt have a definition for it. The spelling came from a medical report and I can find numerous web sites using it, however from the context it isnt obvious what it means, hence the question

It is the description of histologic or cytologic appearance of sparse or uncrowded cell collection. The cells are usually inflammatory cells, but can be other types such as squamous cells (ref.1).
It is basically an area of low cell density ans sparse cellularity.

You can try a medical dictionary, however, IT NEEDS TO BE SPELLED CORRECTLY. Please check your spelling since it isn't at all familiar to Latin or Greek, what most ALL medical words are derived from.
