I personally believe that they are about the same in the way of being horrible events in history.What about you?

I think they're both horrible, indeed, but I think the holocaust might be worse, because the in the holocaust the nazi's tried to exterminate a whole race, while in the slavery people used other people to do the dirty things for them, which in fact happens all the time. Although it might happen in different ways. But both slavery and holocaust were terrible and I don't know if you should compare these things. We should hope neither of them happens again.

The Holocaust was far worse than slavery because it simply included it. In its final form, jews that were able to work were put to it and those that couldn't were killed.
The effects however are inverse; jews are very respected today but african-americans just demand respect without having a reason other than that "they deserve it"...
