Maybe it's just here in Canada so far but I doubt it. An Australian wine producer....Billy Goat Hill I think they're called is now making wine in a can. I tried it over the weekend and I have to admit it's pretty good and I really didn't taste a difference from what comes in the bottle and I've tried all of Billy Goats Wines.

Well I'm from Canada too and I enjoy the Billy Goat shiraz in the can. Very portable and everyone thinks it's red bull

yes, wine in a can is more for traveling but it can be quit good the can is an excellent storage device as it locks out all oxygen from the wine.

Wine in cans have been around for a long time.
Pour it into a glass and its fine.
Wine in cans is great if you are travelling, camping or anyplace where bottles are a nuisance.

Yeh, it's OK. I bought it to cook with but ended up drinking it.
Champagne in a can would be a fun idea.
