Genesis 1:28 says And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and Multiply, and replenish the earth and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

What I would like to know, is no matter what ethnicity Adam and Eve were, there are other ethnicities that followed. So, based on the ethnicity of Adam and Eve, wouldnt this support the idea of a "Supreme Race" considering that every other race, would be different than Adam and Eve? God said that they would rule over everything; humans being the "dominant species" so does that mean that whatever Adam and Eve were not, they were superior to? I hope what I am saying is making some sense. And also, ASSUMING that Adam and Eve were the same race, I also wonder, where the other races came from?

It's called evolution. People look different based on the environmental conditions they are surrounded by.

I think your interpretation of this as seeing a Supreme Race is flawed. I think that god meant that humans would rule over the earth, not specifically whatever race Adam and Eve happened to be.

yes, in a sense it means that adam and eve were superior to anything that was not them. but this does NOT support the idea of a "supreme race", because whatever skin colour, a human is still a human. just like adam and eve were.

as for the origin of the other races, i see it as just another of those little inconsistencies that makes me an agnostic. but you could consider that maybe the other races evolved from adam and eve: their descendants gained darker or lighter skin where it was advantageous to do so

Today we still dominion over every animal, bird and fish that why we have biologist, they are in charge of that job. We still one race (the human race) it just that when we got separated by God when He divided the land after He confused the language After Peleg was born. Peleg is one of the two sons of Eber, the eponymous ancestor of the Hebrews, mentioned in the so-called "Table of Nations" in Genesis 10:11and 1 Chronicles 1. According to Genesis 10:25, it was during the time of Peleg that "the earth was divided", after the failure of Nimrod's Tower of Babel. Peleg's son was Reu. The meaning of the earth being divided has been speculated to be a either a literal division of the continents (as from the super-continent Pangaea), or a patriarchal division of the eastern hemisphere (Europe, Asia and Africa) among the three sons of Noah for future occupation. Flavius Josephus affirms the latter interpretation in his Antiquities of the Jews, Book I, Chapter VI, Paragraph 4.

There are 4 big races on the earth. Asian (yellow), black, white and indian (red).
Every other race is a mix of those four ground races. Since each induvidual has gene pairs (2 genes times 2 individuals), they could contain all four races. (each gene differend representing one race)

same for eye colour and hair colour.
So Adam and Eve where mixed races, contianing every possible race, hair colour and eye colour on earth today.

Maybe God made races because He was bored making the same one over and over. He doesn't want us to all look alike. He doesn't want all of us to have the same intrests, and God does not support any human being over any other human based on race.

God never meant any race to be 'sumpreme' to all the others. The bible says you are God's masterpiece. A masterpiece takes a lot of time, thought, energy. He wouldn't want his masterpiece to be trampled on because He used different colors.

lol. You can't crack the creationists. They have an answer, and several bible verses, for everything!!

Adam and Eve were African, converted to humanity via monkey.

Some descendants drifted to the far north where the sun doesn't shine as bright, and became light skinned, and those are our ancestors (white people that is).

The surpreme race would be a mixture of all of todays race so it wouldn't actually be a race at all.
I believe that the races came from God seperating man at the tower of babel and he changed there races like he changed their languages.
thank you and may God bless you.

Evidence points towards the first humans being black. The only way to explain different races is through evolution.

I wouldn't think, that would have anything to do with race.
Races evolve.
