This is what the west see!

The concept of having more than a wife is like that:

If a man marries a woman, and they cant have babies... then he can get another wife under the condition that he will be fair and just to both... treating them exactly the same, and if under any circumstance one of them is jealous, he will be punished! The Quran state that you can marry more than one woman if you are able to be extremely fair and just, and you wont... meaning it doesnt really allow it for pleasure and whatever your mind is thinking about!!!!

Plus, many women have the right to state in the Marriage contract that they want to be the only wife, and will have the full rights of compensation and even divorce if it works otherwise!

Dont just read whatever you wanna read about Islam and ignore whats written behind the world and concept and between the lines!

All you see that women have no rights, cannot learn, are doormats to men, and worse!! I am a Muslim women, and I have a life that many wish to have!

Quick tip: Dont mix up Religion and Culture... THEY ARE DIFFERENT HEE HEE HEE... oh and dont let the fanatics, radicals, and extremists represent to you Islam as they want it to be :)

Misconception: All Muslim men marry four wives

The religion of Islam was revealed for all societies and all times and so it accommodates widely differing social requirements. Circumstances may warrant the taking of another wife, but the right is granted, according to the Qur'an only on condition that the husband is scrupulously fair. No woman can be forced into this kind of marriage if they do not wish it.

Polygamy is neither mandatory, nor encouraged, but merely permitted. Images of "sheikhs with harems" are not consistent with Islam, as a man is only allowed at most four wives only if he can fulfill the stringent conditions of treating each fairly and providing each with separate housing etc. Permission to practice polygamy is not associated with mere satisfaction of passion. It is rather associated with compassion toward widows and orphans. It was the Qur'an that limited and put conditions on the practice of polygamy among the Arabs, who had as many as ten or more wives and considered them "property". It is both honest and accurate to say that it is Islam which regulated this practice, limited it, made it more humane and instituted equal rights and status for all wives. What the Qur'anic decrees amount to, taken together is discouragement of polygamy unless necessity for it exists. It is also evident that the general trend in Islam is monogamy and not polygamy. It is a very small percentage of Muslims that practice polygamy over the world. However, permission to practice limited polygamy is only consistent with Islam's realistic view of the nature of man and woman and of various social needs, problems and cultural variations. It also is the frank and straightforward approach of Islam in dealing with practical problems. Rather than requiring hypocritical and superficial compliance, Islam delves deeper into the problems of individuals and societies, and provides for legitimate and clean solutions which are far more beneficial than would be the case if they were ignored. There is no doubt that the second wife legally married and treated kindly is better off than a mistress without any legal rights or expermanence.

But why do u want to marry more than one?
Moreover no woman will to see her love being shared with someone else. Its some thing like u are marrying them just for ur sexual needs. When u will get bored of the one u last married then u will again marry a woman on the pretext that Islam allows more than one marriage.
And please grow up. The times have changed. U are living in 21st century (I hope u know this). How will u afford so many wifes by the way.

If I'm single of course, If you're very attractive and fair.

But I'm married, so if my husband wants to marry another, I personally wouldn't mind after a few emotional shocked tears, but I would like to be involve in making sure the other wife is selfless and respect me and i would respect her. Being in this situation requires alot of patience.

Some Muslim women are more emotional than others, so it can be difficult for some.

You can marry more than one. But to marry second/third and fouth time you have to make sure that you will treat all your wives equally. Plus you are obliged to ask the permission of the first wife to marry again.
Being a muslim i should answer "Yes". But being a loving wife i would definetely feel jealous

I asked my mother which she have been married 16 years. She said: "As a woman of course i will be upset but i believe that is better than the cheating which is command in the Western"

And she adds:" After awhile i will be complacent because of my faith "

and what you don't know is Allah had permit the man to have at least 4 wives with conditions and in the necessary and his first wife have to know and agree. And it is his choice if he want to marry one or more.

The conditions are:
1-He must have lustihood.
2-He must have enough money to maintain his wives.
3-He must be able to deal justly with his wives but if he fears that he shall not be able to deal justly with them then only one.

And after all as a believer i believe that no one knows the best for us than the one who had created us.

But, I doubt you are Muslim. SO stop asking theoretical questions. And to answer it anyways, heck no.
You have HORRIBLE spelling and even worse grammar. Which probably indicates your level of intelligence.
And, plus, I already HAVE a husband, and he's the sweetest, best thing ever. And, he's a Muslim, with ONE wife, and isn't ever planning on marrying another.

Actually the bible permits that too, its the law in our western countries that forbidid polygamy. In the early RK church the priest had more then one wifes, untill they got into trouble with kids inhereting stuff from there fathers (the priest). Thats how celebatie came to be. Next to that they ordered ppl to only be married with one woman and have lots of kids with them (church grow). It came into the most western law books too from there on.

Striktly bibical though its not forbidden by God ever.

No. The reason it was originally allowed for a man to marry up to four wives was to protect the women (also because women outnumber men), not to provide pleasure to perverted men like you.
