Rainbow Bridge
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

According to Christian theology from Aquinas, dogs and other animals have no souls. They cannot be damned and they cannot be redeemed. They live lives driven by instinct and are not conscious of or accountable for sin, so they are not rewarded for good deeds either. They just are. They live and they die.
On the other hand, if heaven is a place of perfect happiness, and you can't be perfectly happy without your dog, it would seem to follow that your dog will be waiting in heaven.
On the third hand, it might all be rubbish and we all just die.

In the Book of Revelation in the Bible, it speaks of many types of animals present in heaven. Therefore, the belief is that animals' spirits (souls) do go there. God Bless.

Assuming there is a heaven it will not be worth going to if there won't be any animals there.

If their good; to animal heaven where there are lots of animal snacks and milk and if their Muslim animals they get 27 kitty or doggy virgins to play with.

If their bad; they go to flea and tick hell were they have to get spayed or nurtured over and over again for eternity.

In a hole in the back garden. But if you've got a bit of money and you're mad enough then maybe an urn on your mantlepiece, or it a pet cemetary.

:)
