Yes I know this has been covered a billion times.
I want to approach it a different way though.

The link below gives the case and the evidence for Evolution.
It is not a typical god bashing site, as it is WIKIPEDIA and it is reputable Encyclopedia.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evolution

It is very understandable and references everything. A rather scholarly piece.

I know that god fearing people ofter get mixed up with what Evolution is.

PLEASE DO NOT GIVE PASSAGES FROM THE BIG BOOK.

I ONLY WANT TO KNOW IF YOU ACCEPT WHAT WIKIPEDIA SAYS.

You are not a good god fearing person if you do not wish to learn.

That does not answer the question.

You have put a load of guff in this post which was not requested. Not is it worth the screen it is put on.

It carries no weight., and no credence.

Where are the main references.

Actually, the stuff from "pure" that deals with evolution is by and large true (I am not going to comment on the rest of it as it's not relevant to your question).

Gradualistic change, or "evolution" as commonly percieved, can certainly be demonstrated to work at certain biolgical levels, but there is plainly a lot more going on when one considers the fossil record. The Cambrian explosion of life produced the most complex organsims known, which challenges the conventional Darwinist view that life evolved gradually, with mankind somehow at it's pinnacle (this viewpoint always sounds suspiciously pseudo-religious to me). The fossil record demonstrates, wherever you look at it, that changes happened remarkably suddenly, not gradually. This is not gradual Darwinistic evolution - something else must be going on too!

I'm not expounding a creationist or an intelligent design argument here; simply pointing out that to perpetuate a number of currently widely-held beliefs as "fact" is bad science. We are in danger of replacing one dodgy belief system with another, and (sorry to say it) are still in the realms of theory, not scientific proof.

I have not read all of the Wikipedia article, but as a practising geologist, I know what I'm talking about when it comes to fossils.

1) God fearing people are supposed to fear God.
2) Why does it bother you so much about what God fearing people believe?
3) Why don't you investigate further into why and what god fearing people believe, instead of simply trying to minimilize their beliefs?
3) Who cares about our origins, anyway? Isn't it about how we treat each other, how we love each other and how we do good on this earth that secures us our future after life, if this is the way we believe? Darwin's Theory is one theory, there are others!
4) Many don't believe in God. They're still good people. Unfortunately the biblebashing (and I mean that in a pro and con sense) just encourages sneering. Is it just point scoring, determination to prove that you're more intelligent than the rest?

Excellent!
I see no reason why the theory of evolution should challenge anyones faith in a creator. It is the best explanation we have for the way life emerges and diversifies. If there is a God why should he not 'move' in this way? It seems to me that creationists simply lack the imagination or intellectual capacity to grasp this. Some of the things that PURE has to say are in the right ball park I think. Theories in physics are taking us to territory that Eastern mysticism went thousands of years ago (Fritjof Capra makes this point for example), this doesn't invalidate the work of Newton or Einstein, rather it deepens our knowledge and takes us nearer to understanding the nature of reality. Evolutionary theory does this too, it will evolve itself I'm sure. Another thing I'm sure of and that is that creationism will take us nowhere except perhaps back to the Dark Ages.

Why are people so 'on the darwin bus' collected theory?
Why is there so much ignorance and ignorance towards our spiritual connections?

There is more to what goes than meets the eye!!!

Has anyone heard of The Third Eye / Minds eye.
This is Universal and Spiritual.

Evolution theories are just that, evolved theories of the same old noise of ignorance towards what is REALLY there and where we REALLY come from.

Wise up people, there isnt alot of time left for selfindulgent egos !!!

All I see that humans are able to concieve is more evidence to me that the bible account is true and correct.
Beyond a shadow of a doubt as all the stuff that is of no importants to the salvation of those after Adam, it is all there in the back ground as not significent to the subject, but to the earth it exist on and all evidence is clear for all the years it needed is here on the earth and there in the bible. If people want to ask, HOW DID HE DO THAT? He did it and he will do all we are given that is the subject since Adam wanted Eve.

Good God-fearing people learn the truth and do not waste thier time with lies. That way, when we spot a lie disguised as the truth, we see it for what it is.

p.s. the more I study the natural world, the more I see it has a pattern, and the more evidence I see for a Creator. How can a pattern come out of chaos?

nicely presented
believable

I see nothing about evolution theory that legitimately poses any threat to Christians, God, believers in God, etc.

Evolution theory has invited and engaged humans to use their minds admirably, in the real world and universe, and some have actually taken on the awesome task. Evolution theory has challenged us all to embrace the wonder of it all and endeavor to understand how we all belong to, and fit in with, it all.
