Heard that one or two of his relatives are Christians. They'll

I don't know about the veracity of the rumor that you're spreading, but that doesn't affect my answer.

Although I'm not a religious person myself, I believe that part of being a Christian or a Muslim or whatever is to pray for those who haven't "found the Way."

In the United States, which is basically a Christian country, no true Christian would wish ill toward the soul of another human being (assuming that there is such a thing as a soul).

If you simply hate someone, don't hid behind behind the curtains of religion; just step forward and say so.

No one can pray for his soul, but only for him to decide to repent from everything he did against the will of God. It will be too late after he's dead.
And the question:"Who would pray for this atheist?" sounds to me as if made by a conceited Christian.

He has just undergone surgery and the official press release says he has only handed over power temporarlily (to his brother). But then the man is 80 years old.

I offer my prayers to him, to the future and health.

I'll pray for him for God to open up his heart. Jesus says: Pray for your enemies.
