LMBO!! No seriously, as a lover of cats...I have found...do not feed them "people food"! No matter how much they beg, get them off it. This is the worst for their digestive system, their weight and makes them malnourished, while full. Cut off the table scraps and you will have a sweet-smelling kitty again (and more fit, too). Good Luck.

Some really good answers so far. I have never had a problem with #2. Number #1 is usually the worst. If you have good cat litter, you can also use a powder that you can add to the litter to help. Diet is a big thing too. Are they indoor or outdoor cats? How old are they? If number #2 is a problem, cut back on the amount of food. Also feed them a good cat food. Not some "science diet" crap. Just a medium priced food based on your cats needs. My cats are in very good health, but they want food all the time. I have an open question about how much food is really needed. Hope this helps.

I had the same problem. Mostly, my stupid cat wasn't covering it up all the way and regardless of what kind of litter I used, It wouldn't help.

Some possible solutions if your cat isn't as stupid as mine:

1. Put it's nose back to the kitty-poop and let it get a strong wiff again.

2. Put one of those ION air cleaners near the box.

3. Kill it....with a hammer.....or wood chipper...or tie it to your cars fan blades...or....a giant python--well, you get the point.

well if your using good litter then maybe you need to change its diet.....just like in people some foods dont agree w thier system or maybe just digest in to super stinky poo.....other than that Im not sure you might wanna ask your vet......I know you said you use good litter but just a sugestion I use Tidy Cats scoopable & it works GREAT!! They have it in "imediate" odor control, might be worth a try
