I have seen many teenage girls who justwant the best looking man on tv, or in their neighborhood, why do girls do that?!

Girls are not the only ones who do that, guys do it too. Guys usually want the skinny big chested chick that's on the cheerleading squad. Besides I don't think like that. I actually DON'T want the hottest man on tv or in town. . I want and have a guy who loves me and respects me and treats me right. He may not be the best looking guy to everyone but I think he is and that's what counts. Good Luck friend in all that you do.

You wouldn't like the best looking woman? I am a man and a I get amazed when some men gripe and complain about women who reject them, yet they reject women based on looks. Men can be shallow and go for looks and so do women.
Usually young girls and women due to immaturity have high standards in what they want in a man. They want a man who is tall, dark, handsome, rich, etc. They are looking for the perfect man. Young men on the other hand look for the perfect women who is has a tight body and could be a model, loves sex, and someone they can take home to momma. As much as we would want someone who is our dream guy/girl, we learn as we get older not to be so discriminating.
Yes it is true that looks do matter, looks can't keep one interested.

The long answer to this question requires a 20 page essay on society and how our culture teaches us appearance is the most important quality there is. Appearance is important when you're a teen and a lot of girls (and boys!) haven't learned the importance of personality and stability yet. Most high school relationships aren't very serious anyway so it's all of little consequence. Unfortunately, some people never grow out of it.

Women don't know what they want, and most of all the one constant in this universe which is more powerful than nuclear weapons is femme jealousy! It's the most destructive weapon in the universe because they use gossip, which is worse than the black plague and spreads quicker too. I still can't help but think if God made more than one woman in the garden of Eden, there would have been no mankind. They would have killed each other over the stupid apple and Adam would have jerked off to death.

i think you have already answered your question. You mention 'teenage girls' because they are immature. And I suppose its all bout glamour and moreover when they watch all those teen dramas on tv... I have realise that girls up to the age of 25 are very indecisive, always comparing with their friends...
I think its a huge competition of women that age.. that they must have a best bf... and with all the gossips and pressure during college days... must be tough for them...
