I have to run a fate stall at my school... any ideas on a theme .. there is face painting and stuff like that?

ok firstly let me tell you that the word is 'fete'.

but you could run a fate stall if you wanted to set up palm reading or tea leaf reading stall. That way you are telling people their fate at the fete.

other stall ideas are:

a white elephant stall. selling unwanted treasures from others.

a bookstall

a craft or art stall where kids can make something on site. painting plastermodels is fun.

a guess the number stall... count hundreds of jelly beans into a jar and visitors pay a smallfee toguess the number of jelly beans. the winner gets the jelly beans.

cake or lamington stalls are always good.

a feel good stall or positive thought for the day...
take a large empty fish tank and place small cardboard cut out of fish with a paper clip attached into the tank. On each fish write a saying, a quote, or a positive thought for the day. Visitors pay a small fee to go fishing for a thought for the day. make small fishing rods out of sticks with fishing line tied to it and a magnet on the end.. the magnet attracts a fish and get their thought for the day.
