NO.

The name is "John Wayne Airport" (from the airports own website), not John Wayne International Airport.

ALL the airline service at SNA is DOMESTIC ONLY!

Here are all the nonstop destinations to/from SNA-

You cannot fly from Switzerland to Orange County/John Wayne Airport. The only international flights into John Wayne are charter.

The closet airport with international nonstop arrivals from Switzerland is Los Angeles/LAX about a 30-45 min drive away.

Yes, it is international, the airport code of John Wayne Airport is SNA (for Santa Ana) - the airport code for the largest Swiss airport is ZRH (for Zurich).

There are no direct flights from Switzerland to SNA, you'll have to change in Orlando, JFK or Atlanta.

But when you change the plane in the US, you probably will have a domestic flight in the US without getting into the tax-free area in SNA.
