and they only wanna be referred to as men. Why? whats so bad about bein called a boy?

Because they want to feel like grown-ups, like big machos and heroes, and when you call them boys, it makes them feel small (everywhere);-)

It doesn't bother me though. But I hate when somebody says to me mister. C'mon, do I really look so old? when I was only 7 years old and I went to buy bread or something, the sell assistants used words that translated into a single word is "mister". I'm a boy and it doesn't bother me at all if someone calls me like this. Some guys hate to be called boys because they think they are considered like children and they want to be considered as a man.

Do I need to answer this? When you are working for a living, supporting families, paying bills, and being a responsible adult, you have EARNED the right to be called a man! Being called a boy is a badge of immaturity that is reserved for males under the age of 18 years and/or those who is still living with their mothers.

I am now too old to be called a boy anymore, I would be really proud if someone did!!
When guys are younger, being too young is really bad: girls always seam to go out with older boys, so age is incredibly important...you are directly insulting their manhood in a funny way as you are saying they are not mature enough.
Boys, blatently are not mature enough, (well I wasn't anyway!) but we resent the hell out of girls saying it, as it is usually the same girls who we fancy that go out with guys a couple of years older than us...
I am so glad I don't have to go through that anymore..it was horrible!!
