Try Ivory soap!

Try a cleanser for sensitive skin, or just try out different ones to see if the itch stops. I prefer body wash, or shampoo if I'm in a pinch for cleanser, they don't leave a weird film behind. Also, try a moisturizer right after your shower or bath while you are still wet if you think it is from dry skin, don't towel dry. Also, try plain water on especially sensitive areas. Showers might be better than baths, because sitting in bathwater can cause more itching. And I hate to bring up a gross subject, but it could be a fungus like athlete's foot or yeast, they love lots of moisture. Try a powder or antifungal if you think that's the problem.

These answers all good but here is something to try, have a quick shower after bath just water to wash of any left over soap or shampoos then pat your skin dry do not rub as this will irritate the skin.

Try a different soap and use a bath oil or lotion. My husband has to use Ivory because he has skin problems that become really bad in winter. Also- do you use extremely hot water? If so, that's ********* the natural oil from your skin. Try using slightly cooler water.

Good luck!

I love a steaming hot bath or shower, and the side effect of that is drier skin. Replenish your skin with some good moisturiser, like a silky lanoline based body cream.
The soap answers above should also be considered.

It is the dead and dry skin from the soap. Try taking a bath with no soap to verify that. If it persists without soap, see a doctor; otherwise, try a different brand of soap.

Your soap is drying out your skin, try using a softer soap like Dove, or oil of olay soap, or lotion down after drying off.

Try to change your bath foam. You could be allergic to it. Also, after bath use body lotion (not of the same mark).
