I was eighteen when I got my cell phone contract and had no established credit so I had to put in a deposit, but I am aware of the three major companies used to check credit, but I don't want to know what my credit score is, but rather how much a contract like this raises your credit score on average

Funny thing. I applied to cellular companies Verizon and Sprint. Both approved me. I choose Verizon. I lookes at all three of my credit reports and Verizon didn't even show up,but Sprint showed up on one of my credit reports even though at that time I didn't have Sprint.

Unfortunately, it probably did not raise your score. A cell phone company is not extending you any type of credit ,like a credit card company or loan. Even though you signed a contract and were obligated to pay there was no credit issued to you by your carrier. They supplied a service. Much the same as you paying your utility bill.
If you don't pay it is reported, but good payments are not.

You need to build credit by using credit.

This site offers loans that are very easy to qualify for and builds credit scores by reporting your regular payments to the major credit bureaus:

Cell phone companies and the like, do not report to credit bureaus unless you do NOT pay your bill.
