It is not normal for a baby to have diarrhea with an eye infection. Usually with an eye infection nothing is affected except for the eye or eyes and an antibiotic drop will clear it up in a few days. Did you go to the Dr for the eye infection? If not, it could have turned into something worse. If so I would call them back for another appointment to make sure there isn't something more serious going on. At 4 days your baby is probably dehydrated already.
Good Luck!

The diarrhea could be from the heat, or rather, there could be a condition that you need to talk to your baby's doctor about that was caused by the heat. It could be serious.
Diarrhea that goes on for 4 days is dangerous to a baby because they dehydrate quickly...quicker than adults. The eye infection is probably not from the heat.
The heat is more dangerous to babies and older people because they cannot regulate their body temperature as well as healthy adults.

It sounds like a virus or bacterial infection. go to the Doctor you baby might need antibiotics. It could be any number of things teething, conjuctivitis (eye infection). It is better to be safe and just go get a check up your babies health is worth it. Give pedialite and make an appointment you do't want your baby dehydrated.
