Yasmin, I am not sure I understand ur problem fully. Let me clarify: U said that u had to lose ONE tooth, and ur dentist has suggested EXTRACTION of TWO teeth plus scaling before placing a bridge, right? Well, what I feel is that u have mis-quoted him/her ..... ur dentist might be suggesting re-shaping/crown-cutting those two teeth. This means that those two teeth need to be partially ground all around so that they may serve as support for the proposed bridge (EXTRACTION means REMOVAL of the tooth!).
If this is true, then u won't be losing any more teeth; rather those two teeth will serve as two pillars between which the bridge will span.
Next is the choice of teeth to be involved in the bridge. This, my friend, can be done clinically only.

take it from someone who knows once a tooth is gone then it is just that and the more you have removed will effect your problems with teeth more and more. Also with extractions you may get infections especially from back teeth removal and also most of your chewing is from the back teeth and when it comes to chewing that food boy dentures are so bad and then running to the bathroom to have them cleaned is bad. I wished I had my time back and instead of thinking it was cheaper to keep. I would of worked my butt off to find the money for a cap or anything. Because now I am looking into getting implants. So that maybe is what you could do for the one already gone see about an implant.I do hope any of this helps someway. And do ask the dentist about other solutions. Removal is not an option with all the new dental stuff going on now.

DON'T LET HIM EXTRACT ANY OF YOUR GOOD TEETH!!! GO FOR DENTURE INSTEAD...THERE ARE LOTS OF GOOD DENTURES.....DON'T LET HIM EXTRACT YOUR TEETH OKAY?!?! YOU ALREADY LOST ONE TOOTH, DON'T MAKE IT THREE....COZ IT WON'T COME BACK(PERMANENT TEETH)....LOOK FOR ANOTHER DENTIST.

Yasmine, if you are going to wage war on me, you shouldn't make it so easy by posting hideous pictures of yourself and asking for physical feedback- or by trying to come down on me with your indecipherable, uneducated rantings...
