I look at death as my friend. It reminds me of my impermanence and makes me get off my butt to enjoy life. I think death will be the best day of my life. A new birth. Just as you had to leave some part of you to become human. You lose some part of being human to become a new being.

i trust that the earth is a residing element an identical way a human or animal is a residing element. It has a center, and outside, effective factors, and 'moods', in case you'll. in the present day, this planet is lack of life. imagine of the universe as a human. enable's say the earth is an organ. Human's may choose a kidney transplant through kidney failure. perchance because they drink countless booze. to that end, the earth is failing and closing down, because people have contaminated/damaged it. i imagine in some unspecified time sooner or later, the planet earth will be so insufferable and unlivable - that there'll be very few species and organisms left. even if, i'm no longer optimistic if i trust like the earth will be reborn. that is a possiblity. I do count on spirits and an afterlife consisting of a soul nonetheless connected to the actual earth.

The thought of death is scary. Its easy to say: "well you just live and then you die, so enjoy it as much as possible" when you are safe (for the moment atleast), but looking down the face of death and saying the same is not a ball game.
For most people its a scary thought whether they admit it or not. But death is an eventuality whether we like it or not, .....whether we accept it or not.

I have been through an incredibly hard life and have come close to death a couple of times myself. When you get that close, it seems like a well earned rest from it all. I can honestly say I don't fear death. What I DO fear, is the things I won't get to do before I die.

I'm not afraid of it, if that's what you mean. Death can't hurt me. I'm going to die no matter what I do, so why shouldn;t I live in response, just to tick Death off?
