Huge family. 8 kids and - over the years - about 30 kids who stayed for a few months or a few years. I was the 7th. Our house was open to the tired and weary, the huddled masses. I missed the opportunity to become narcissistic by not being the only child.

My parents had 25 grand children and I've lost count of the great grandchildren.

A small one... was always just Mum & Dad & I.. I'm an only child and Mum & Dad moved to the other side of the country from thier family when I was really young, so I have never had any big relly get togethers or anything like that.. I feel that I missed out most at xmas and festive times obviously when everyone else is spending time with thier families.. But I just get by, by Treating my Friends like they are family..:)

I live in a family with one mom, one dad, and two younger sisters. I don't think I missed out on anything. I lived the single child life for a few years..and then was blessed/cursed with my baby sister. Another few years flew by and our "double trouble" was again blessed/cursed with another younger sister. I think in many ways I still would have liked to be an only child sometimes, but thats usually when my sisters are REALLY getting on my nerves. I would have liked to have an older sister though. It seems as though I am the pioneer, the one who always tries everything out first. Middle school, high school, and soon college. And my sis's depend on me to be a good example. Its tough sometimes. Ooo..I think it would have been cool to have a brother too. I have like no male influence in my life.. But I guess thats what guy friends are for. Thanks for asking!!!

A LARGE family, and everyone was together every weekend celebrating something.

We Weren't as corny as some other fam's who do their own shirts and family activities.

I actually do think I missed out on the other, however I take advantage by going out alone a lot.

Average really. I have a brother and a sister. I think my brother missed out by not having a brother though. I dont think we missed out at all, we lived with our parents and had a fantastic childhood.

Small family, and I always feel like larger families seem like so much fun.
