Ciao,
Italy and Italians are good people, i work with a number of Italians quite closely and travel to Milan and Rome frequently - you seem to take time to enjoy and digest the good things more so than we do... you are also much more passionate than we are......
world cup: cool , I think most people were happy for Italy to win (as England didn't)

I went to Italy as a nanny for 6 weeks. Every time I went out I got followed by a different guy, sometimes more than one in one day, I spent a lot of my time off racing round side streets trying to lose the freaks. One old guy sat next to me and tried to kiss me while I was trying to read. Am sure Italy can be lovely and that lots of Italians are nice, but would NEVER go back there again.

I love Italy. The food is very good, the best pasta of all and I also like the culture. Many beautiful places like Rome, Venice, Pisa,
and many other, too much to write it all.
About the championships the Italian footballteam is one of the best in the world and this during many years.

I have been to your wonderful country twice. Once skiing in Cervinia and for a short Break in Rome. We are also going
to Sorrento at the end of September so i guess you could say that
i am a fan.
You are, as far as my experiences, and warm and welcoming people with fantastic food, culture and history.
I am happy that you won the World Cup (especially as you beat the French) your football was not boring and defensive (for a change) You won, so you must have been the best.......right?

I like Italy, even if I only know Venezia yet. I got cousins in Firenze, and I hope I'll have the opportunity to visit them soon.
My boyfriend thinks Italy is the most beautiful country in the world.
And about the chanpionship... well, I don't care, because I don't like football, but all my friends are disapointed (I live in France ;o) )

Italians are a nice friendly people. I have no problem with them winning the world cup - it was a good match. It's a shame about the football scandal tarnishing the results though.
I'm hoping to come to Rome with the family next year.

I love Italy. I'm coming over in two weeks for a holiday. Rome is the best capital city in the world, in my opinion!
