Frozen pizza has frozen cheese, I don't see why not. Wrap it well.

Yes, you can absolutely freeze cheese. you don't however have to thaw it in the fridge. You can leave it out at room temperature to thaw if you like. Actually, when you serve cheese, it is best served at room temp., not cold. The best and easiest cheese to freeze is a hard cheese with a low moisture content such as Parmesan or argentino. The cheeses with a higher moisture content (cheddar, mozzarella) will tend to get freezer burn so make sure to wrap them tightly. Dont freeze brie.

Why yes you can. Cheddar will be crumbly when thawed though. Not really a huge problem, just don't plan on grating it, it just falls apart. Color and flavor are fine though. If you are clever you can grate it before you freeze it. That's works great for tacos and pizza and everything you would use grated cheddar on.

My mother always freezes her cheese. In my household of poor folks we always bought the biggest blocks of cheese to save money. She would cut a small portion of it off, then freeze the rest. I don't ever remembering throwing away cheese from our freezer.
