It helps if you have a grasp on the English language before you try and speak.

I AM PART NATIVE AMERICAN AND I FEEL THAT THE ONES WHO SUBJUGATED THE NATIVE AMERICANS SHOULD HAVE BEEN HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR THEIR CRIMES BACK IN THE DAY WHEN IT HAPPENED. TO BLAME TODAY'S CHRISTIANS OR WHITES FOR THEIR ANCESTORS CRIMES WOULD BE RIDICULOUS. NOT ALL AMERICANS OR WHITES WERE IN SUPPORT OF THOSE CRIMES AND MANY TRIED TO HELP. HOW WOULD YOU KNOW WHO TO GO AFTER? NOT ALL AMERICANS AND WHITES COMMITTED THE CRIMES. HOW WOULD YOU DEAL WITH A PERSON WHO WAS HALF AMERICAN AND HALF NATIVE? WHICH HALF WOULD YOU KILL OR PUNISH? PERSONALLY I FEEL IF THERE SHOULD BE ANY KIND OF ACCOUNTABILITY IT SHOULD BE IN THE HERE AND NOW IT SHOULD LIE WITH BOTH RACES IN THAT THEY SHOULD BOTH BEHAVE LIKE DECENT HUMAN BEINGS AND TREAT EACH OTHER WITH RESPECT AND DIGNITY. UNFORTUNATELY, THAT DOESN'T HAPPEN OFTEN ENOUGH AND THE DISRESPECT CONTINUES BETWEEN BOTH RACES BECAUSE FEW ARE ABLE TO LET THE PAST GO AND TRY TO MOVE ON TO MAKE A BETTER LIFE FOR THEIR PEOPLE.

No, no one is accountable for others works. Everyone is accountable to God for their own actions. Many atrocious things are done in the name of God by fanatics. It is a pity that such things are done in the name of the Lord who is all about love and forgivance. Such things are done due to total lack of understanding of the Bible and humanity. If we hold the christians of today responsible for those deeds, there would be very less difference between us and those who did such gruesome deeds.
Everyone is accountable for their own deeds to God.

No. No one today should be made accountable for what someone else has done in the past, UNLESS there was some prior arrangement made that provides for it. In any case, if there has to be some kind of accountability, it should be made applicable to all people groups, not just Christians. In other words, everybody must account for what their ancestors, or for whatever the forebears of their religion, has done. And woe to those who have changed religions a few times!

Even though there were bad things done to Indians, there were many kind things done to Indians. Thomas Jefferson enacted legislation to build Indians a church and send missionaries, not to kill them, but to give them the gospel--the good news about Jesus who frees us all from the bondage of sin. William Penn also treated Indians fairly. It was sad his trust was later broken by some who were not considerate of many of our early founding father's intentions to bring all people to Christ. That was one part of the mission Christopher Columbus was given when he was sent by King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella of Spain.
I wonder why this is so minimized in our public education today?

This is simply amazing to see Christians of today denying the responsibility of other Christians but yet they work day and night to associate Muslims terrorists to Islam.
Oh the irony.

If they killed American Indians, they clearly were not Christians. They were self serving egotist.

It is this simple. All humans, regardless of color, race or creed are just humans. They can belong to whatever religious affiliations and still be tempted. Priests, missionaries, monks, they rape, they plunder, they kill. its old news. People are just humans who can subject themselves to pathetic situations. If they are any better, they wouldnt be called humans. It's the way they are mold by society and circumstances when their faith and love for God and neighbor are weak that destroys them. Its when they trust themselves more than God that kills them.

No. If you fallow that reasoning, then I need to be held accountable for the vikings who raped and pillaged ........
Germans would be accountable for killing Jews.......
.....and so on
Man's inhumanity to man is something beyond reasoning and understanding. If we think too much about it our heads will spin and fly off in to outter space.
