I would suggest grilling food but not using BBQ sauces. Perhaps marinade the meats such as chicken, steaks, pork chops instead (things like italian dressing, oil/vinegar/garlic, soy sauce/shallots etc.. all make great marinades) and then grill them. This will go along with the theme and the side dishes but keep away from the messy sauces that could make a mess out of peoples clothing and most importantly your wedding dress!!! If you have a vegetarian option you could always grill vegetables as well. Good luck and happy wedding planning!!!!!

Country food...ummm fried chicken, BBQ ribs, steaks, ham, a large roast, oh turkey too, tater salad, regular salad, macaroni salad, coleslaw, beans or chili...A Fruit and Vegy plater, lots of that its cheap and fills the belly. Also if you get different bread rolls and put them in a basket...Oh dont forget the butter. Lets see a few cracker and cheese platers and get some pepperoni, salami, those go great with crackers and cheese. Chips and dip are a must to...Make sure you have plenty to drink a punch some soda, beer, wine...Have a blast

Fish goes with every vegetable. Pork Loin is also a good way to go.
Skewers (broiled or grilled on a bar-b-que) with zucchini, onion, tomato, bell pepper and squash are really pretty and very tasty. You can even add polish or smoked sausage or chicken and have that as your main course. This latter idea is if you're on a tight budget.

well if you dont want messy I would eliminate the corn on the cob...The cormbread will be ok..if you switch it to hush puppies..and go with A large Fish fry you can start with shrimp cocktail and then you can serve a salad with a ocean fried platter consisting of trout..or selected fish... Shrimp... oysters ....clams...fries or bake potatoe (with additives)..and a glass of tea... You can also do big pots of shrimp etouffee and the corn bread would do well...or even Seafood Gumbo...

Fried chicken with gravy. If you want to make it easier to eat, then how about chicken fingers or deboned chicken breast. If you want to make it elegant, serve in the shape of hearts or roses.
