According to Islam, if someone (evil soul) insults any Prophet of the Almighty God especially our (Muslim's) Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), every Muslim is obligated to kill such a person. We (all Muslims) cannot even think about insult of any Prophet of Almighty Allah and we respect every Prophet.
Nowadays, some people of evil nature are trying to insult the holy Prophets especially Muslims and it is not fair in any mean because we (all Muslims) never insulted others religious personalities and religions.

You are not allowed to do that under the Islamic law.
If someone says anything insulting, engage a dialog and correct them with the best knowledge you have and if you don't, go to someone who does in that field.

There have been many many times when the prophet was insulted during his lifetime. Did he kill everyone who insulted him?
If he did, no one today would have heard of him.
This is a slap to the face of those who say Islam was spread by the sword but where would first get his first sword?
Sword indeed, it was the sword of intellect which made Islam world's fastest and quickest growing religion this world has ever seen to this day.

i don't know whether you purposely put your nickname "Ali" or you really are a muslim named Ali, but read up, Islam is about peace, although some idiots like Bin Ladin give an awful impression about this religion. Islam doesn't obligate anyone to kill for any reason other than being in war of course. the Media in the US is a one-sided media, strives to destroy the Image of arabs and Islam, they still show arabs living in tents and riding camels, which is very rediculous, they should take a look at Dubai, Bahrain, Kuwait ..etc. so lighten up please and stop spreading such ignorant Image of Islam!

Everyone among the Muslims know about the incident when an old woman who used to hate Islam and what the prophet taught (equality among all people in front of the ONE God Almighty) used to throw garbage on him from her upper floor. She would wait for him to pass and he would not change his path either. He would just brush it off and keep walking. Until one day she did not throw garbage on him and he checked how she was doing and found out she was sick. He went to check on her health, which turned and melted her heart towards him.

That said, it is also a established fact in ISLAM that people who do not respect the religions of other people, who wish to create discord and hate and killings between people are more dangerous than some of the criminals. A criminal is limited in his impact and is in due time caught and punished. Those who make people fight because of their religions ultimately cause many innocent to unnecessarily die, when all people are made by the God Almighty and everyone is given their share of free air belonging to the LORD equally and so is His Sunshine delivered to one and all without any prejudice.

The Prophet is also clear to the Muslims do not call names or insult other people's prophets or even false gods to avoid fighting that is uncalled for.

Those who deliberately insult the Prophet with the intention of hurting a lot of people's feelings and abuse their religious sentiments and do so in public may be punished and stopped. The punishment is severe, as the crime can lead to a lot of violence and inter-faith fighting.

However, it is not your responsibility as an individual to take action. It is up to the authorities in a society how to gauge that situation and what to do.

The Prophet's instructions for individuals are simple. Walk away from such people until they talk about something else, then talk to them again, as long as they are not being abusive or unreasonable.

Remember that many people misunderstand both ISLAM and the Prophet of Islam. Many who speak against either do so at times because of the wrong doings of Muslims themselves, which builds misunderstanding. At times people are just ignorant and do not know.

Finally there is another saying from the Prophet which pertains to killing. He said the best "killing" of an enemy is to turn him into a friend through patience, understanding and magnanimity. Then the enemy is dead and a friend is born in that same body. The Prophet also said that if a man is killed physically, two will come to take his place to fight with you. We are allowed to fight only those who physically attack us and we have no choice but to fight back. Running away is not a choice allowed to Muslims. However, if the attacker is either wounded, loses its weapon or runs away one is not supposed to chase after and kill either.

The Quran is clear that Allah does not love those who are aggressive, as humility is the better option. However, giving the other cheek to the bully who would be abusive is not an option available to Muslims, unless the bully is weak and the abused is strong and is allowing the bully to be abusive and is being patient for the sake of Allah. However if a bully is abusing someone weak and the weak asks for help, it is the duty of every Muslim to come and aid the weak against the strong.

Thus the Prophet not only forgave his arch enemy (Abu Sufyaan), but all the former enemies who literally had blood on their hands of Muslims, when the Prophet won over Mecca without a fight.

Remember that these people, the enemies of the Prophet not just attacked the Prophet with words, but also with weapons and yet were forgiven when they became powerless in front of Muslims. The prayer for forgiveness goes something like this:

O Allah, YOU and YOU alone has given us victory over our enemies, and without YOUR help there is no way we could have overcome our enemy. Therefore we forgive them in your Name, as we ask you to forgive our own sins, for you are Just and your Justice is to be feared and we are all sinners.

I hope this answers your question.

I don't know. But if you see your neighbor working on the Sabbath, the Old Testament in the Bible says he must be stoned. Will you volunteer, as part of your civic duty? Also, the consumption of shellfish is considered an "abomination", the same word used to describe homsexuality. Ever eat steamed clams? If you did, the Bible says you're no better than a homosexual.

BTW, if you have daughters, it's OK to sell them into slavery provided you use the guidelines provided in Leviticus, another book in the Old Testament.

Nice Bible, eh? It's almost as good as the Q'uran.

If Someone Insults the Prophet, it is not necessary to Kill him.
Ignore him for what he said. That will alone Frustrate him.
Also, Prophet was a kind soul who wouldnt have liked if somebody was killed due to him.
Remember, God Forgives Human and favours the humans who forgive others.

Muslim religion is obviously flawed as many others are but especially because they are not standing up against extremists; because they are cowards; they stand behind extremists secretly; and therefore are guilty of all that is happening against Lebanon right now.

If Muslim religion had real power of God they would stand up against the evil of extremist racist murder and removal of their half brothers the Jews; instead, however, they are murderers of their half brothers the Jews because they are sore losers.

Maybe God gave them the land of Israel and then took it away; but the prophecy says he did bring them back for his own names sake. All is being done in order to remove false religion from mankind. To remove Israel is to remove your half brother of Abraham.

There is nothing worse then hillbilly wars and conflicts that never end because vengeance of blood can never be fulfilled. Forgiveness and love are the only way out and only true Christians can understand this. However, vengeance belongs to Jehovah God, not to men. His vengeance is against those who do not know him or teach his will.
