It's not a question of it being okay or not okay.
It will be a difficult at times...if you two are not on the same spiritual, moral level, your faith WILL be challenged. You may tell yourself that you can handle those differences but it's soo easy to be slowly drawn away from your faith because of a guy. (1 corinthians 15:33)

Is he really really worth it? Is he showing signs of a possible relationship with Christ? I thought that this one non Christian was a great guy who would treat me right, but of course, morality became an issue, and I realized that I needed out of this relationship cause it was causing me to lose sight of Christ in MY life...

As a boyfriend or a future husband, you want a guy that will help you constantly become a better person, not someone who will bring you down. If there are doubts about his intentions or your futures, don't go down that road.

Best of luck to you! Hope this helped :)

I say no - ( I always told my daughters no ) because where is a relationship going? And why would you want to be serious in the long run with a non-believer. So why play around with it. Just take a look at this page, and this category!
I was married to a non-christian and we just had core different beliefs and huge problems.
Take him to church, show him Christ in your life but don't date - where do you think it will end up?

YES

Know though, for Christians, it may be difficult to date uneducated people (but who knows they may learn something from you & while you may not see it now or even in your time together, a seed was planted) or people of different religious beliefs (you may end up bumping heads alot, though).

Christians are known for having to share the word & trying to save... so it is gonna depend on your "Beautittudes" on perhaps how long the relationship will last but you never know until you try.

Paul tells us not to be unequally yoked with friends. It also warns us about marrying non-Christians as well. Maybe you should share the Gospel with him and then go from thier. Be careful though. My wife met me as a non-Christian but wouldnt carry on a relationship until I converted. Now we are both happy and didnt have to worry about being a burden on each other spritually.

Catholics are Christians. Catholics have confidence in God and pray --with the aid of fact they are *Christians.* in case you marry a Catholic, you will nonetheless be marrying a Christian. The earliest Christians have been Coptic Christians, Orthodox Christians, and Roman Catholic Christians --and likewise Gnostic Christians (who the Catholic Christians desperate have been heretics like some Protestants think of Catholics are heretics). you're one or yet another form of *Protestant* Christian. Protestant Christianity emerged in the time of appropriate to the 14th century--approximately 1000 years after Orthodox and Catholic Christianity did. Protestant Christianity split right into a hundred denominations considering then. all of them have particular names (Methodist, Lutheran, Baptist, Pentecostal, etc.) do you be responsive to yours? this is a historic previous lesson to place issues into attitude. do you opt for for permission from strangers on yahoo solutions as much as now or no longer date a desperate guy who you have been knowledgeable to hate--as a Protestant Christian (who does not additionally be responsive to what denomination she belongs to) with the aid of fact he's a Catholic Christian?

Of course you can, but it's not recommended by the church. Now it doesn't matter to me what you're lovers religion is as long as it's Christian. However, certain arrangements must be made. This is coming from a Catholic.

It's ok. People are allowed to make their own decision about religion. I know a Christian female that is married to a Muslim male. They are happy.

There is of course nothing inherently wrong with dating a non-Christian.

Not that you're getting married but what the bible says on a spouse that is a non-believer:

12To the rest I say this (I, not the Lord): If any brother has a wife who is not a believer and she is willing to live with him, he must not divorce her. 13And if a woman has a husband who is not a believer and he is willing to live with her, she must not divorce him. 14For the unbelieving husband has been sanctified through his wife, and the unbelieving wife has been sanctified through her believing husband. Otherwise your children would be unclean, but as it is, they are holy. (I Corinthians 7:15)
