You think the world would be better off without religion.
I think the world would be better off without it's man-made god, then no religion would be necessary, would it?

You need a bit of help w/ your grammar before you can go around judging anyone else!!
And you also need to understand that we are NOT insignificant to the Lord! If His/Her eye is on the sparrow, I know He/She is watching me!! Sheesh! That's pretty much the basis of Christianity, isn't it?! That we all matter & are uniquely important to the Lord?!!!
The Bible says that He became a human, just like us! I doubt His intention for doing that was to rub our noses in it & laugh when he took his place next to his holy pops!!
According to the Bible, We matter to God every bit as much as his son does.
What's wrong w/ loving a bug, or a molecule?!
Umm...technically, we are ALL molecules

Think of a parent's relationship with a baby. The baby on it's own is basically helpless. It doesn't understand things like the adult does, nor does it have the ability to walk, talk, or care for itself. It is completely dependent on its parent, and all it is capable of is crying out for help. Yet the parent loves it, even though it is helpless, even though, compared to the parent's ability, it is pathetically powerless, even though the parent must change the baby's diapers. God thus loves us, because we are his children, and even though, compared to his power, understanding, and love, we are practically insignificant, he still cares. He loves about us as naturally as a parent would love its child.

Yes, King David had the same kind of thoughts....

Psalm 8,

3 When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers,
The moon and the stars, which You have ordained,
4 What is man that You are mindful of him,
And the son of man that You visit him?
5 For You have made him a little lower than the angels,[a]
And You have crowned him with glory and honor.

It's amazing, isn't it?!

I don't think A Creator of the Universe would be caught up in the Size of things (such as little and great).

He created us insignificant little pieces of nothing, we must be worth something to him!
