they are small, and pretty sore. I just got back from camping in the 100 degree heat, and a friend said they can sometimes be caused by the heat. Does that sound right? What could it be?

could be sun blisters or cold sores - if they itch a bit and get a little worse before better I would say cold sores but I had this weird black dot on my finger once after camping - some weird things can happen after camping. could be hpv (an std called genital warts) which can spread to your mouth that looks like a cauliflower cluster formation but if you haven't done anything to anyone I wouldn't worry. Just go to your dr to check it out - you sound worried so maybe you are worried about it being an STD - you should get checked for all STDs anyway before and after relationships - so should the other person. If it is a cold sore (herpes) - there is an oral simplex of herpes and then a genital one. So - if you have oral herpes, it does not necessarily mean you have genital herpes but it could be transmitted so just know that- even if you touch ur lip and then your **** you can spread it urself. if they itch and seem to scab or something try picking up some abreva cold sore medication from your drug store OTC. It could just be little acne too around ur mouth so there are so many possibilities - see if you can soak them and if they clear up or if you can push anything out with gentle pressure - I would go to dr. to check it out and clear ur mind but those are ur possibilites, good luck
(**canker sores are IN your mouth (inside of cheek ) so if it is in the corner of the outside of your mouth, that is not what it is)
1/10000000000000 of a change that little white dots are cancer by the way) geez - no chance I don't think

oh I just looked this up: - another possibility
Definition:

Sebaceous hyperplasia is a skin condition in which a person develops small, yellowish growths, usually on the face. A variant of this condition, known as Fordyce’s condition causes tiny yellow dots in groups and sometimes in sheets on the lips, inside the mouth, and sometimes on the genital skin. In both conditions, the small, yellow spots represent an overgrowth of sebaceous glands. Neither sebaceous hyperplasia or Fordyce’s condition is dangerous

***try some Neutrogena astringent for oil control from drug store - sebaceous glands are oil glands that secrete sebum - normal oil acne talk here - put some astrigent on cotton pad and hold on there 10 minutes few times a day)

it could be nothing escpecially since u were camping but go to dr to ease ur mind, ok?

sound like canker sores. They can be quite painful, and usually take 2-3 days to clear up. I recommend rinsing with mouthwash or some kind of antiseptic. If you have any toothache medicine, you can apply it to the bumps and it will numb it, otherwise, you will just have to wait it out. The causes are not clear yet as to what really causes canker sores. They can flair up if you bite your gum or something. It could also be with something you ate. I dont' think it has anything to do with the heat though, I hope this helps!

Moles, warts, and skin tickets are typical epidermis wounds that grow naturally. Although they are typically low dangerous, they could be humiliating if situated on a visible part including the face. Epidermis wounds like moles and warts cause self confidence issues to the sufferers. A person with moles normally turns into a loner since they do not want to be seen in public. They think uncomfortable to be out in public places, so depression will normally follow but now you can modify all of this with this specific information from here https://tr.im/M74t3 , Moles, Warts and Skin Tags Removal eBook.

It could be caused by a number of different things. Most likely it isnt major. My grandmother use to say it was from lying hahaha. But put warm salt water on it and thru the day get a Q-Tip with some Peroxide and put it on it. If it does not go or away or comes back often this could be signs of a condition that need to be addressed to your PCP (primary care doc).

It could be because of the heat.. did you drink plenty of fluids.. also.. did you share your water bottle with anyone. Its usually from dehydration and in the heat cuased them to crack in the corners.also if you were licking the corners of your mouth too much..It could be sun burn..Get some carmax and if it doesnt go away see a dermatologist..or your doctor..

1: cancer sores
2: cancer
3: heat

Try rinsing with mouthwash for a few days, cancers can last for 2 weeks, or zap them with Vitemine C, if they don't go away within 3 1/2 weeks, then you need to see a doctor.
