Females tell me i'm like a brother but i want to be closer(girls only please)?

Almost anytime i get close to a female, first they like me alot then she tells me that she sees me as a brotherly figure, we still stay friends but i can't seem to get a steady relationship. What am i doing wrong? Please help

your a nice guy dude. you wear you heart on your sleave and open yourself up too easily. you have to learn yourself that when you meet a girl you dont want to start a friendship with her, you want to start a relationship with her. back off a little, be more upfront, and ask a girl out before you become friends

If you want to be more than friends you have to flirt at the beginning of the relationship. Do things brother's wouldn't do. If you tease them or make fun of them in a friendly manner it might remind them of their brother's. So if you do that I would stop. I don't know how you act around girls so I'm sorry I couldn't help you much.

hey! there are only two things girls are pointing out here: 1) they did see you as someone who's like a brother. or 2) they're hinting something else altough they're just playing hard to get.

i've got lots of guy friends and i they're all like the brothers i never had (until i was 10.) and i would tell them that they're like my brother... personally, i think this is a defense mechanism for me to say that they're like a bother to me because i don't want to see myself with one of them or maybe because i don't want to think of them as someone more than a friend that's why i'm telling them (and myself) that they're all like a brother to me... you get what i mean?
it's kind of complicated to explain this but that's what most girls do... hey, just please understand us.
