Why?, Did I do something to deserve this?, Are you even real?, How could you do this to our family again?. After my great-grandmother died, I began to question my faith. I used to consider myself somewhat spiritual until I started losing my family members. I lost 5 family members and 2 friends in 6 years. 2 in one year. VERY HARD to deal with. I have a hard time believing these days. I don't care what anyone says. You aren't going to make me believe unless I see physical proof. Great question though!

In the past I used to ask "why me" "why now" "what have I done to deserve this". Now that I have grown up a bit (physically, mentally, emotionally, socially, etc), I realize that life is a growth process and change is inevitable. We have to go through grief just like we go through happiness. So instead of asking those previous questions, I ask for the strength and courage to accept those things I can't change, the strength and courage to change those things I can and the wisdom to know the difference.

Personal grief causes me to rant and rave at God about all the bad things in my life. Then, after I am all done being angry with God, I finally ask for patience and wisdom to deal with whatever comes my way. Peace always returns. God really is great.

Since I was 18, I haven't asked him for a THING, and I've never been happier!! For all of my life when I tried and tried to ask him to love me, and to help me understand all of the "whys", no one answered. I may as well have prayed to Buddha!! Oh yeah, that's right, you brainwashed Christians don't believe in Buddha! That's a step in the right direction, because the joke's on you as well--YOUR GOD DOESN'T EXIST EITHER!! AND YOUR LIVES ARE WASTED ON THE MINDLESS HOCUS POCUS THAT IS THE BIBLE!! Good luck with your ENTIRELY FAITH-BASED BELIEFS!! I'm not gonna waste my time believing in your bullshirt!!

why? has to be the first thing on everyone's list. why because it seems so unfair that something would happen and cause grief.

the key is the second question, and that's when you ask Him for help.

I have asked the usual question, "why". Aside from that, I have just asked him to be with me and to help me understand and to learn what ever it is that he wants me to learn from this experience. I have asked him to open my heart and to make me a better person and to be there for others in the same way I would like them to be there for me.Some questions people ask him are probably pretty similar, but, we all have our own personal ones as well.

There is a REASON for everything! U NEVER ask God WHY!!!
If anything, ASK him for strength!!!

P.S. WE ALL GO THRU PERSONAL GRIEF! THATS LIFE!

In moments of grief or joy we only say "Let your will be done!"

Well after losing my Mom, Dad and brother and sister.. I asked him if he could let them know how much I loved them.. let them actually feel it.. and I asked him to help me through it.. you have to remember it's HIS WILL be done...it was hard for me to accept that... but I know I will see them again

I just ask him to give me strength to get through it. None of us can understand why things happen.
