Are you taking about INDIA? Maybe in the royal or very upper class families, but in the middle to lower class, (most of the population) having a girl child is considered humiliating to the family and many, many, many girl babies are killed shortly after birth by stuffing their mouths with rice until they choke so that the family can sustain the males they already have and have more children that might be boys....
