Well most people are saying water. And that is OK for those that will drink it. For water I would say to put the bottles in the freezer for an hour, it makes it easier to drink for those that don't generally like water.

I own a restaurant and "summer drinks" being a major contributor to my sales and water being the second most popular drink.

Homemade lemonade is our specialty............

Cut 12 lemons in half
slice the halves in 3 pieces
squeeze the pieces by hand into a gallon or larger container
toss the squeezed pieces into the container
add 2 cups of sugar
1 gallon of bottled water.
let it sit for a couple of hours.

I make 5 gallon at a time.

iced tea. I like mine with lemon.

You can buy special 'iced tea' bags that you can brew in cold water, otherwise, brew a really strong cup of tea with at least 1 bag per final cup you want, i.e. if you want 4 big glasses, use 6 teabags. Let it steep for 5 minutes or so, then add honey or sugar you want (approx 1-2 tsp per glass), dump over ice and add lemon.

Black or green tea is fine, although my favourites are mint and hibiscus. Try all the Celestial Seasonings teas as they work well.

Slice a few lemons, and put them in a container.Pour boiling water over them. Add as much sugar as you prefer. Let it cool. Put the liquid into a jug, and put the jug in the fridge.
Drink it cold.
Easy to do and very refreshing.
This also good for sore throats, but add honey instead of sugar, and drink it hot.

water or lemonade.

You can make real lemonade with lemon juice (comes in a bottle), sugar, and water. Use about 1 cup sugar, 1/2 cup lemon juice, in a pitcher of water. mix. taste. add sugar if it needs to be sweeter, or lemon juice if it is too sweet, or both if it is too bland.
