WELL, NOT RECEIVING REPLIES TO YOUR EMAIL doesn't automatically put your receipients to the 'RUDE' box.
There are reasons why people don't reply:
1. They are too busy.
2. They receive boring email
3. They don't see the urgency of replying.
4. They are not really connected to those who are emailing them.
5. They are 'rude'
6. Their computer is down.
My friend, don't get frustrated so easily. Just give them the benefit of the doubt and keep emailing them. Send them jokes, stories of human interest, share them your heart aches, share your life to them. If they don't respond, fine. Just move on and keep on keeping in touch. One way or the other, you will receive email.

I so feel you on that....I have been waiting for a response from a person I considered a good friend (ex- co-employee). She can't be that darn busy to not respond, especially since I know she is always on the Internet and checking her emails. I'm starting to feel like chopped liver.

I agree with you. I expect people to answer emails within the day - or at least within 24 hours. Especially work-emails. I expect people that are using email at work to check mail several times pr day - and at least once pr day. It is common curtesy to answer mails, to let people know that their mail is received and that it will be answered as soon as possible if not now.

Um... who cares? Obviously they didn't think your e-mail was important enough to reply to in a timely fashion.. maybe you should start sending more important ones.
