If you want to lose weight and decide to cut calories, you'd drink diet soda instead of regular soda, right? But recently I've been hearing that diet soda can be much more worse than regular soda and stops you from losing weight. How true is that? Has diet soda ever given you problems?

i think the biggest problem is that people who drink diet soda think, "wow, this is helping me lose a lot of weight! i can over-indulge on other things now!" and then they get to the counter and go:

"yea, i want two cheesburgers, two large fries, an apple pie, chicken nuggets, a chicken sandwich, and uh, a diet coke"

it's not supposed to work like that, people.

Yes. Diet Soda is worse, although both are still bad. Many people who drink diet soda daily knows that its really bad for them and is addicting, kind of like a cigarette.

diet soda will let you loose weight because it doesn't have any real sugar in it. it is the sugar in soda that is stored in fat cells that make people gain weight. the problem with diet soda is that no one actually knows what the artificial sweeteners do to your body. it has been found that aspartame turns into formaldehyde if it reaches temperatures in the 90's and 100's which can happen during shipping and in your body.

the best way to loose weight is to cut all sodas out of your diet completely. they are bad for you and they are dehydrating which will actually make you feel hungry.

If the pop has aspertame in it, it's bad for you.

If you're diabetic and shouldn't have sugar, you should opt for the diet pop, but not very often.

Only drink pop as a treat.
