It's normal. Try to get in the habit of reading more books, magazines (real ones, Time, Newsweek etc..)
And doing more crossword puzzles and brain teasers, then your brain will start acting like a sponge again.

You're only as old as you make yourself to be. Of course, if you're referring to the actual fact, then 33 y/o would most closely mark the spot. But if you're talking about personality, diet, exercise, etc. (things you have a choice over), then you can definitely be youthful.
Tips:
Eat foods with Folic Acid to help with memory and eat foods with Vitamin A for better eyesight (of course, the rest of observation should be based on a healthy brain and mind)
Conclusion:
But if you ask me (based on what information I generally know of, because everyone is unique, so I wouldn't automatically say this applies to you unless I knew you well), you've got plenty of healthy years to go! Don't stress out and relax.

It's not normal to have noticeable memory impairment at the age of 33. If you're having problems concentrating and remembering things at that age it's probably due to factors such as major depression, inadequate sleep, nutritional deficiences due to a horrible diet or effects of booze and/or drugs. Get adequate daily exercise. Throw the twinkies and potato chips in the garbage and start eating fruits and vegetables. If you have significant symptoms of depression or substance abuse problems see your doctor.

Things def start changing in your 30's. You should talk to a doc too though just to see what they suggest.
I know that what you eat and how much exercise you get matters too. You have to eat lots of raw fruits and vegies, and you have to exercise even just 20 mins a day helps. Do you eat well and exercise?
Vitamin supplements help as well as Chinese herbs. You have to be careful when trying herbs. Just one at a time to see how your body reacts. You can try ginko biloba, st. john's wort, just go to a health food/vitamin store and perhaps get a book on Chinese herbs and their uses.
Also, learn new things everyday...read books, keep your mind alert, by memorizing things. Learn new words in the dictionary...don't let your brain get old!
PS: Maybe you should also be checked for adult onset ADD.
Good luck.

33 is Young. You need to see your Dr. It is normal for everyone to forget things every now and then, but if it happens alot then you need to seek professional help, because you are still young

You need to get a medical checkup. You may have early menopause, sleep apnea (like me) or something else. No-it is not normal in the 30's.
