They're both good cars. They're different size. The Corolla is Toyota's compact. The Camry is their mid-size line. The Corolla is cheaper to own and operate, the Camry is fancier and more comfortable but more expensive to own and operate.

ok, sorry but first of all, I have to make some things clear:
It's a "Corolla" not "carolla", and it's "Camry", not "camary" Hehe, spelling errors are a bit of a pet peeve to me.
As well, the Corolla is not Toyota's answer to the civic, whereas the Corolla has been in production well into the early 1960's, and the civic hasn't.
Toyota has won numerous awards for having the best quality in vehicles, and is known worldwide for it's dependability. General Motors (GM/Chevy/Pontiac/Saturn/Oldsmobile/Cadillac/GMC/Buick), Ford (Ford/Lincoln/Mercury) and Dodge (Chrysler,Jeep,Dodge) have been proven to be less reliable than the japanese vehicles, as to where there is less precision in the building of these vehicles.
Toyota's founder invented the "Toyota Way" which is deemed Genious in how the company is run, it's cars are built, and how it's employees are trained.
As to the Corolla and Camry being better than the other, it is the same thing as comparing a kitchen chair to a sofa. The Corolla is aimed at younger families, with less people, has a smaller engine, is a smaller vehicle, but gets great fuel economy, best if not almost best-in class. The Camry for 2007 has been redesigned, is a larger vehicle, designed for typical families, has a smoother ride due to longer wheelbase, has a more luxury feel to it, and all of it's engines have more power to them.
The Camry, however is available in Gas Electric Hybrid, a combination of an electric motor with a gasoline engine to greatly reduce the consumption of gasoline without plugging in a batter, whereas the corolla is yet to be available in hybrid.
Toyota, if not Japanese is definatley the way to go, it's good that you're interested.

I think the Camry is the better ALL around car. For starters is waaaaay cuter. 2nd, it can be a family car, a fun car, and a car you can travel everywhere in, where as the corolla is kind of small (i guess because i'm so tall). I like the feel of a big car but still like to be comfortable driving it.
I had a 1999 Corolla...it was okay but I've had 3 Camry's over the last 7 years. Right now I have a 2003 But I'm trading it soon for that 2007!!!
Get a Camry!!
Oh yea, get the Camry Hybrid. It's stylish and good for the environment!
I love Toyota!

Usually the more expensive the car is within the brand, the better the car is. Toyota keeps within that theory.
The Camary offers more luxury, sound deadening materials, and a smoother ride than the Corolla -including (as mentioned) -a higher price tag.

Definitely Toyota Camry. The features, looks, everything. Camry probably lasts longer and has more power. However, the one good thing about corolla is the size. Smaller, the easier to drive. So if your talking about comfortability go for the camry.

If you are seeking for comfort and safety , you would better go for Camry but if you want an economic drive so that you drive with low fuel consumption go for corolla...but corolla is more conservative if you want to sell it again.....but still I think that Toyota Camry is a better choice...even here in my country Camry is the official Taxi car and When i ride it a feel like riding a very comfortable and very quiet vehicle....

Depends what do you need them for. Toyota corolla is perfect for a small sized - fuel efficient vehicle. Toyota Camry is powerful and more roomy and comfortable.

They're both good cars. The Camry is a good bit larger than the Corolla. The Corolla gets better mileage. Depends on what you're looking for.
