I think girls are bombarded by TV ads to change their appearance whether it be their hair color, losing weight, wearing certain clothes and shoes, or their make-up. I don't agree that natural is always better. I have seen people that need a little help. I am one of them. I have colored my hair for 40 years and I am not stopping now. I do not want to have gray hair and look older. I am vain like the cheerleader girls I guess. I am not obsessed with changing any parts, that I would not do. I just like to look the best I can.

I am a stylist of 16 years and have colored my hair since I was 13. Yes I was a cheerleader but I colored mine red. My 12 year old son well I bleach his blond and he is a baseball player. And I started my neice at twelve. It is a fable that hair dye (color) how old are you, causes cancer either you are old or out of touch. If you are happy with eveything about yourself you are probably one in a million and that is great.

Yeah, you're right. The natural color is ideal, but sometimes, your hair is really dark and you have pale skin. Lightening might just help you not look like Elvira. I wear my natural hair color, but I used to dye it just for the sake of variety. It was fun, but it also damaged my hair. You can't be mad at anyone for doing it for fun or just for a change. Maybe just trying to fit it would be dumb.

I agree, I am almost 50 years old and have NEVER messed with the natural color of my hair, I have waist length hair and now it is turning grey, but very cool, with streaks of brown, white and grey. Also, I think that since I never did all the salon "treatments", it is also very healthy, thick and silky...I think women who spend a lifetime dyeing and "treating" their hair are in the long run doing themselves a major disservice.

I HATE fake blondes!! or at least the ones who act like stereotypical blondes. But sometimes the natural color isn't the most beautiful...mines a dull, dead-looking medium brown, so I darken it a little and bring out the red highlights, and it looks much better.

you notice in contrast to black hair that's a racially ambiguous hair colour, blond hair is particularly a caucasion trait. as quickly as we communicate approximately women with black hair we ought to be speaking approximately any race of female, yet as quickly as we are speaking approximately organic blonds we are speaking approximately white women in basic terms (or a minimum of ladies with caucasian ancestry). as a result, putting blond women on a pedestal is a secure thank you to place white women on a pedestal with out sounding racist isn't it? Oh, definitely, although this isn't any secret that ecu elegance is valued better than the different.

Women generally look great with natural color, the ones you speak of are ones that want to be blonde or something there not.

No, one's natural color is not necessarily the most ideal and beautiful. And not all of our parts are naturally fine.

yes, when you were a child, your natural color was probably the best. but as we age so does our hair. think of it this way, your skin wrinkles doesn't it, well so your hair changes too. people color their hair for many reasons. to create body their thin fine hair wouldn't normally have or totake curl out that is normally unruly, and many more. so don't do it if you don't want to but please stop hatin'.
