you know a lot of people will say it is your imagination that your family likes your sister more than you... and perhaps it is... but perhaps it is not..
Wipe your eyes... have a little sniffle
Now, here are some facts of life..
Not everyone is going to like you .
You are not going to like everyone else...
Sometimes family members do like one sibling more than the other.. Just ask me I am one of six kids and my mum's favourite children are a manipulating prosititute and drug addicted bludger.... That's life...
There isn't anything you can do about who your family do or don't like...
What your family like or don't like has nothing whatsoever to do with who you are or how valuable you are as a person.
Your value as a person will never be measured by comparing you with your sister... even if it seems everyone is doing that ...
Other people's actions, thoughts or feelings do not decided how likable you are or how good a person you are. Those things can only be measured by who you really are and what it is you do.
If you know that you do some things wrong then work on fixing that but don't expect others to notice or even care whether you are or not... Do it because you know it is the right thing to do.

Maybe you think they like your sis more I'm sure they love you equally. If this worries you and you cant talk to your parents about it then talk with close friend or aunt uncle tell them how you feel they may be able to speak with your parents on your behalf. Expalin how you need a little encouragement and want them to show and let you know at times they are proud of youand love you. Express to your sister how you feel she loves you and will understand. What ever you do don't distance your self from family as it will cause you more pain. We all feel that one member of the family is liked more, but when grown up you will see things differently. Be happy as you are lucky to have parents.

It is understandable that you would want the love of your family, but don't feel unloved. I am sure that they love you as much but they may not show it as often as they show your sis. Don't be disheartened, if you could find a way to tell them that this is how you feel, I am sure that they will reassure you that you are no less loved. Meantime, it is a good time to see if you love yourself too. Do wonderful things to develop your talents and abilities. But don't do this to compete with your sis.
Don't cry no more. look up cos I am sure life has more to offer you and your family will come around. Most important thing for you to realise now is that they do love you as much.

All kids think that their parents love another more. Actually they love all their children but show it in different ways. If your mother scolds you, take it that she cares for you ,if she does not care for you she could not be bothered. If she ask you to help in the house its becos she is preparing for when u leave home to go college or marry. At least you know something about housework. She is guiding you to be independant when she is not around. No matter what happens parents love for their children will never diminish you can be very sure of that.

All kids think their family/parents like the other(s) better than them..."Mom always liked you best" is the most common theme among siblings there is. Trust me, Parents love all their kids the same, just show love differently to each, because each needs something different than the other. Grow up a little, you will see I am right.

Just continue to show them the kindness & patience in you..it will open up their hearts over times. Have faith.
Do not shed, fill up your life with circle of friends whom will appreciate & love you just like any family member would.
