While alcohol has no calories and can make you feel full as it does have mass/volume it is NOT a good weight loss solution. Haven't you seen people with beer bellies? Check out the website below it explains better than I could ever.

Alcohol adds weight! Alcohol eventually becomes sugar in your system. If you don't burn it all off it will be stored as fat, just like any other food or drink. WHy do ytou think they call it a BEER GUT?

Alcohol is high in calories; In my experience, the reason it may help you lose weight is because the next day you are either crapping your guts out or are puking everything you have eaten in the past few days.......

A shot of whiskey contains around 160 calories. No minerals, no vitamins. For sure, your overall disposition changes and good judgment disappears.
