1 The house of Obed-edom was blessed by the presence of the ark (2 Sam. 6:11).
2 The word blessed is used three times; surely the house was blessed by God (Luke 1:39–45).

1 The ark returns to its home and ends up in Jerusalem, where God’s presence and glory is revealed in the temple (2 Sam. 6:12; 1 Kgs. 8:9–11).
2 Mary returns home and eventually ends up in Jerusalem, where she presents God incarnate in the temple (Luke 1:56; 2:21–22).

Yes in a sense Mary was the ark of the New Covenant.

The author of Luke knew the Old Testament and constructed a Gospel pregnancy story that fit the mold of the ark story. Easy explanation.

(The author of Luke also apparently used Mark as a reference, which would mean that Luke wasn't inspired. Same thing with Matthew. That's why these three Gospels are so similar. But Mark was apparently the original.)

Star Wars, chapter 1 and 2, Obeone Kanobi..you have it mispelled all over the place. It isn't Luke 1:42, it is Luke Skywalker. Give me a break.

Anything that happened "in the hill country of Judea" is similar?

I'm sure you could find a lot of similarities with other things if you skip enough details.

Similarities #6,
The ark was burried and forgotten.
Mary was burried and forgotten.

Jesus is the New Covenant sent down to mankind. This is why they sound so similar. Those that choose to serve the Lord will be blessed abundantly. They will be blessed with peace of mind, joy in their hearts and with material possessions. The USA is still a mostly Christian nation and it is tremendously blessed.

Wow, and that part about "My God, why have you abandoned me?" was made up by David, and then said by Christ on the cross. Kind of makes you wonder 2 things: "Is history repeating itself?" or: "Is there a time dialation going on that we are unaware of?"

And what about the manna that fell from heaven and the last supper? Was Christ really just following tradition of his culture, or was he, at year "zero" (for all intents and purposes) was himself the manna back then. Wow, this like, blows my mind. Quit doing that!

I think that's why every time you read a scripture in the Bible it will mean something new to you. No matter how many times you read it , the Holy Spirit can reveal something new. Awesome work......keep up the good work!!!!! I believe there a many mystery's that we can unfold, until Jesus returns!!!!!

What is your question? You are taking similar phrases in different places and in different circumstances. What is your point? What are your deductions in these passages? As far as I am concerned, they are unconnected. Each reaction, each blessing, each context is different. They are totally unconnected. Don't make a mountain out of a mole hill.

Interesting and yes, somewhat similar but what is the underlying question you are asking? Mary was not a diety if that is what you are getting at.
