I'm starting my Junior year in high school and I'm completely horrified of this.

I'm taking the hardest classess I could get my hands on [Chemistry, Trig, Honors English 4] just to name a few, and I'm scared because this year is going to be my hardest year.

Not to mention school starts in exactly 8 days for me, and the day after my 16th birthday so I'm shaken over that too because I'll have my permit and a car and I'm all...

BLAH!

Anyone else like this?
If so.. how are you dealing?

I feel your pain. Try talking to a good friend and gossip (not the bad kind) but talk about boys or classes, or even what you'll wear on the first day. Pamper yourself the few days b4 it all starts and calm yourself down. tell me how it goes!

School is about to begin in 21 days away from now and with the schedule I have next fall, I know that my courses will be a breeze. As a senior, I do expect to get at least a decent GPA for college admissions late on but I'm also hoping to have a blast while I'm at it. Although I'm on the fence with whether to take Drama 1 or Spanish 4 and I do have alot of responsibilities along the way: such as a huge Project and those 7 AP exams, SATs for college

Your Junior year schedule doesn't look at all that challenging if you don't mind me saying. Chemistry is just naturally easy for most people especially if say, that its already watered-down for a Sophomore to understand so you shouldn't have any problems with that class. Trig/Pre-Cal is also another easy class if you're "ok" with math, its a basic review of Algebra 2 with new materials added in to prepare you for Cal. As far as English goes, "Honors" only means you have more reading assignments, not really challenging at all to say the least

Good Luck!

You could put off getting your license for a few months until you're more settled into school and less nervous...that would be one less thing to worry about.

As for your classes...just think about how many thousands of students before you have taken a load of hard classes and done just fine -- if they can do it, so can you. Your school probably wouldn't have let you take the honors classes and all if they didn't think you can do it. Also remember that most teachers are friendly and ready to help you if you don't understand something. I'm sure you'll be fine. Good luck.

Well, I went through this...yes. I took a few of these classes a year earlier than you and it all turned out just fine. You need to get used to a work load like this though if you want to go to college. The harder you work in high school, the easier the transition will be to college. Now is the time to raise that GPA and work so hard that when you look back you won't regret any of your decisions like the rest of us do.
