well did this guy take her from you when you were going out? if so then i think you might have a reason, but just remember, that she did choose to go wtih him instead of you, so hurting him might hurt her too
but if he started going out with her after you two broke up, then no... its not right

I think if you were going to do it, you would have just done it by now. Someone who asks a web community their thoughts on if its right or not is probably not going to do it, even if we all said you should.
I think you are wishing that you could but are looking for justification for not beating him up and therefore feel like you have done the right thing. I have three brothers all with explosive tempers & experience has shown whenever any of them beat someone up it was the result of NOT thinking about it at all. Later when they think about it, they know it is wrong.
Who the hell are we anyway?
Of course its not right to do it but it takes an awful lot of explosive anger to actually physically hurt another no matter how much he has hurt you.
I dont think you have it in you so don't worry about it. Most people here will tell you its wrong.

No, it's not right.
Your girl did the 'mesinarndwith' so what does that tell you about your girl?
He may be at fault if he knows you and her are dating, but realistically....she is at fault for doing the messing around while being involved with you.
Why do you think it happened in the first place?
Out of respect, she should have broken it off with you if she wasn't happy with you.
You need to find a faithful girl hun.
But you didn't really say if he has your girl or you still do, so if it isn't/wasn't meant to be - then let it go and find a true girl.
