It is said that Heaven and Hell are in another dimension. My question is what does a dimension look like, how far it will take to get there.

In the classic term, it's a plane of measurement or location. You measure along width, breadth and height to get a 3 dimentional measurement.

Time is sometimes counted as a fourth dimension, as we can also measure time or refer to a point (location) in time.

Additional dimensions are beyond comprehension, as we would have to have insight to measure or locate a point in said dimension, and we don't exactly have a handle on any such ideas.

In programming, you may have an unrestricted number of dimensions, which still is just another way of creating points of reference or measurement. But creating intuitive models of such data is difficult, as mentioned above, we don't have a way of describing or visualizing such intersections.

It is a type of reality like for example if you were transported to another universe. It's not how far. Your spirit will go to either heaven or hell.
