"Azazael-Lantern
It is not possible because there is no God. There is just the human condition of suffering and the ignorance of it. Wanting to please a God so that you may receive a reward or stave of punishment, this is unproductive to mental and spiritual growth. Take responsibility for you own actions, replace faith with wisdom and you will find life to become easier. Wisdom is the understanding of the true nature of things. A lot of people can be intelligent, wisdom comes from experience, experience for them selves. Ignorance's causes suffering, wisdom on how to do things for you self, find the cause of problems as they are, not how you perceive them. This is the true path to enlightenment."

I totally agree with the response that Azazael gave. It makes complete sense to me. Intelligence and wisdom is what will save us, not God. Witness what is happening in the middle east... bottom line of the problems is God or belief in deities. Rid the world of religion and we'd have a much happier planet.

As a Christian, I'm not sick of seeing answers like this. It only drives home how much work there is to do to share the gospel. Obviously people who respond to the existence of God in this way, need to hear about the good news, not have it shoved back in their face. As Christians our faith calls on us to share the Truth about Christ and the resurrection in a respectful manner. Unfortunately, there are people who don't want to hear what we have to say, and we need to respect that. If someone doesn't respond in a receptive way, "shake the dust off your sandals" and move on...BUT PRAY for them. Remember God can change hearts, some are just a little more difficult than others.

Actually, I love to see all kinds of answers. The wackier the better. The quality of the answerer reveals some of the person's character, the stage of life they are in, sometimes whether they are a man or a woman, whether they are white or black.. yes, an answer can paint a picture in the head of the reader and the questioner. All of God's people fill me with the wonder of life and its variedness (is that a word?) I would not want to convince anyone of anything, nor would I want to be swayed from the truth, but I will admit here and now, that I am a sinner, and I am trying my best to love. If you are sick of these kinds of answers, you are sick of the people who ask them. You then have to ask yourself, do you love, truly love your brother?

If your sick of seeing it why post the question? Your just trying to get the same response..see Azazael-Latern has already responded. Ha ha serves you right. the other reason is because it seems in this forum everyone wants to push their opinions on others, so he's come up with a copy and paste stock response for you.

yes i agree with you that this kind of answer is rather vacuous

if someone doesn't believe in God or any such then why waste their time in the 'religion and spirituality' section? if we are meant to take their statements about wisdom seriously that is?

snickerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

There is nothing wrong with cut & paste.

I have several detailed answers. I'm not typing everyone of them out 500's a month.

Is it the same answer? yes. If it's the same question.
