I own the 1 1/8" 22LR and 22mag versions of the NAA mini revolvers. Both are fun to shoot. The mag is not that much louder than the LR.
I would not trust a 22 mag for protection againest critters. It's not even a quick stop for personal protection.

i have a 22 long rifle cal model.the 22mag sounds like a 45.hurts the ears..bird shot is a not effective,use hollow points.
