1. Do nothing but just listen to soothing, jazzy or instrumental (not boring ones) music.

2. Watch a good movie / good old drama series with a friend or someone special at your comfy home.

3. Drink a glass of ice blended coffee mocha and eat chocolate while lightly chatting with a friend or someone special.

4. Take a little nap in a cozy bed with a comfy comforter with a very soothing music in the background.

5. Take a slow walk in a park where you can enjoy its peaceful and beautiful surroundings.

6. Take a stroll along a beach where you can feel the breezy winds and waves at your feet. Take the time to listen to the sounds of the waves.

7. Watch and admire the sunset alone or with someone.

8. Take a short tour / trip to the sea on a boat / cruise and enjoy the views of the blue sea waters marked with the horizons.

9. Pamper yourself. Indulge in a relaxing body spa or a soothing bubble bath. They both serve well as a form of stress-therapy.

10. Turn off your handphone and put your mind off work where necessary. Avoid unnecessary noise where possible and take in peaceful, serene surroundings.

Don't think about the future. Don't think about the past. See nothing but what is right in front of you. Think about all the great things you have right now like food and shelter. With those you have what it takes to live and everything is okay. Let nothing else exist but the things around you that you can see. Don't waste time worrying about what happened yesterday or what is going to happen soon, tommorow, or ten years from now. Just live in the now for a few minutes knowing that you are alive and that's all you need to know at the moment. Just sit back and observe stuff, don't think in words. Think in pictures for a few minutes.

If you remove all of the humanly hog wash from your brain for a few minutes it can do wonders for you.

I would have to day it honestly depends on the mood I am in or what it is that is stressing me out that I need to get away from to relax. I like to read, i also like to play on my computer. Sometimes answering other peoples questions on here takes me away from my own problems. I also like to relax in a nice hot tub.

The quickest and best way for me is a bath. Nothing is more relaxing and satisfying as laying down in a nice hot bubble bath.
Mmmmmmm....
I love it!

Take a nice drive through the coast or the mountains in my beloved Miata. Top down, of course.
