1. Bully the North Koreans out of their nuke plans.
2. Downsize the arsenal.
3. Bully the Pakistanis out of their nukes and plans.
4. Downsize the arsenal.
5. Bully the Iranians out of their nuke plans.
6. Downsize the arsenal.
7. Negotiate with India for eliminating their arsenal and downsizing ours.
8. Bully the Chinese out of their arsenal.
9. Downsize the aresenal.
10. Bring Japan and Russia into NATO. Get the Russians, French, British and Americans to joijntly and simulateously turn our arsenals over to, say, Iceland or New Zealand or some new country.g
11. Have the small island nation with the nuclear monopoly forbid nuclear weapons worldwide and schedule the dismemberment of its own arsenal at a regular pace.

Dismantle MOST OF IT, but keep some in case we need a tactical nuclear stike on SOMETHING. Perhaps a comet is coming towards Earth at this time, and a massive nuclear strike could help the world situation. Perhaps ALIENS will try to invade and their ships shields can only be penetrated by a nuclear blast.
But, I think that America does not need so many nuclear weapons, and Nuclear Winter sounds like a REALLY HORRIBLE fate for the world.

I would send all the nukes to the sun and blow it up so that we would all die from freezing to death.........I would also blow up half the world while I was at it with left over nukes and make sure everyone suffers a nucular fall out before they die from no sun.
just kidding........I would actually send it all to space on a fast rocket that is aimed at any dangerous mediorites and comets........the rest of them I would just have travel out in to space far away from Earth so they would never be found agian.

Destroy most of it. Saving only enough to make sure that there is a valid threat for rogue nations, making sure that a good secret phone call can keep them in check when they're misbehaving.
